New World has struggled with player numbers - Amazon reacts

Riot Games is an American video game growth company based in West Los Angeles. The company developed the Mob Organization of Legends released in Europe and The United States And Canada on October 27, 2009. Given that the acquisition of the last service shares in December 2015, Riot Games is a subsidiary of the Chinese Web Group Tencent.

New World has now struggling with several problems. Bots, the bad economic system and falling player numbers ensure that servers are always empty. Amazon therefore tries server composers.

NEW WORLD: After the ascent comes the case

Amazon Games liked the situation with New World probably differently, especially since the game could hardly save from players. Now, however, the opposite is the case. According to the page Steam charts, the game was able to inspire an average of 400,000 simultaneous players for themselves a few weeks ago, meanwhile, the multiplayer RPG has arrived at around 100,000.

Among them are smaller servers, because without enough player breaks the whole economic system together. That must already join a lot anyway — so much that Amazon recently switched off the servers temporarily after several duping cases were discovered. Of course, that did not remain unnoticed and despite the player's fang, Amazon had to start a spelling shaft, which endured over 1,200 accounts at the end.

We have permanently blocked over 1,200 players because of these exploits, removing their items from the economy and deleted their entries in the trading posts. On November 2, we were decided against obvious mathematics and have permanently blocked the accounts of the worst malefactors, which has been removed from the economy of the economic coins and objects from the economy, says community manager Alexandra on the official blog.

How it continues with New World remains to be seen. First, a few servers should be folded together.

NEW WORLD: The game numbers fall fast

After several delays, Amazon's first attempt appeared in the MMO genre on September 28, 2021. At first, it was a thorough success, New World shot into the charts quickly up. The popularity of the game has now apparently removed again — that could be due to bugs like the gold doubling, which almost paralyzed the economy in the game.

With the UPDATE 1.05, Amazon has succeeded in fixing some problems, but apparently on some servers a strong population decline is recorded. Now the Group reacts with the merger. This announced New World developer Kay in the official forum:

Hello everybody, the merger of the worlds is imminent, but still requires more tests before we are confident enough to use the technology on the live worlds. As you can imagine, we are excessively careful in view of the first stony weeks.

New tokens for a server change are possible

In the forum, most fans react positively to this news, but some players have now practically wasted their tokens for a server transfer. This also includes forum users Karina.

Is there any hope for a second transfer token for those of us who have used the first to join friends and now stuck on dead servers? I know that it's still early, it's only noon, but according to the database of New World are on my server just 167 people online. Every day more people change the server.

So much the bugs and exploits also nerves, I could handle it... but it's hard to play a game like this if there are not many others that you can play.

But it seems like these players were lucky, because developer Kay replied that that there is quite hope.
