Kojima is going to sue those who defamed him as a murderer

This week was very controversial for Japan, given that the former prime minister was shot dead from a distance, and the worst thing is that after the first few hours the person responsible was mistaken for someone else. Specifically, Hideo Kojima, thus making direct accusations, and now after the opposite was proven, the creative does not intend to leave things like that.

Via social media earlier today, Kojima studio Kojima Productions issued a statement mentioning this media turmoil that made it to the news, including lawsuits by politicians. So with this, the studio is implying that they are not going to allow this smear in any way.

KojimaProductions strongly condemns the spread of fake news and rumors that convey false information. We do not tolerate such defamation and will consider taking legal action in some cases.

They didn't specifically mention the case with Shinzo Abe, but after a strong disclosure was made globally, it stands to reason that this potential lawsuit would go down that path. So far not much more has been mentioned about it, but it is likely that next week we will know a little more about this serious event.
